Andrew was appointed Metro Worlds UK Engagement Editor in August 2021. In 2019 he won the JPI Media Digital Journalist of the Year award in London. Andrew was also the lead digital editor with The News Letter in Northern Ireland from 2018 to 2021. Before that he was the first person to ever be appointed Social Media Editor for JPI Media's Northern Ireland portfolio of regional and local titles from 2016 to 2018. Before moving from print journalism into digital publishing, Andrew was a senior news reporter with The Derry Journal from 2012 to 2016. Andrew's career in journalism started in 2006 when he joined The Sunday Journal where he worked on news, sport and features.
